REED LUPLAU (Guest Artist) born in Perth, Australia, trained at his mother’s studio Jody Marshall Dance Company and later the Australian Ballet School (ABS). After graduating from the ABS, Reed was invited by
then Artistic Director Graeme Murphy to join Sydney Dance Company. While with SDC, Reed performed in Graeme Murphy’s ‘Grand’, his dreams. The Director’s CUT, Short Stories & Berlin, Stephen Petronio’s Underland, Raphael Bonachela’s 360 & Aszure Barton’s Sid’s Waltzing Masquerade, for which he won the 2009 Australian Dance Award for Most Outstanding Male Dancer. In 2009, Reed choreographed two short works for the Sydney Dance Company, the Sydney Opera House and The Australian Ballet. He recently moved to NYC after a Guest Season with the West Australian Ballet.
