SHILA TIRABASSI (Dancer) is originally from St. Petersburg, Florida. She received her BFA from The Juilliard School under the direction of Benjamin Harkarvy. Since joining the company in 2001, Shila has served as Rehearsal Director to the company and Assistant to the Choreographer in NYC and abroad. Her professional experience includes Ballet Hispanico, The Merce Cunningham Repertory Group, Buglisi Dance Theatre, Lar Lubovitch Dance Company, and Mark Morris Dance Group. In addition to dancing, Shila also teaches yoga and pilates. This is her ninth season with the company.
